Towers
Specifically designed to complement Evance wind turbines
The tower is a key component of the whole turbine system, therefore Evance has worked in partnership with tower designers to provide a range of towers specifically designed for the R9000 wind turbine.
There area two types of free standing monopole towers which are available in 10m, 12m, 15m and 18m (33, 40, 50 and 60ft) heights, all designed to be easily transported and assembled.
All Evance towers tilt down, enabling fast and easy turbine installation and maintenance.
The RAM tilt tower uses hydraulic rams, which are fitted to the tower and the tower foundation, to raise and lower the tower quickly so reducing installation and servicing time.
The Gin Pole tilt tower is raised and lowered using a leverage arm. The tilting mechanism is operated by a winch fastened to an anchoring structure provided by either a beam protrusion from a concrete pad foundation or a secondary concrete pad. This system does require more concrete than a Ram tilt tower.
