" Installing this wind turbine has been a great success. Following my experience I highly recommend the Evance turbine and the company. "
UK Accreditation
Micogeneration Certification Scheme (MCS)
The UK Government’s Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) developed MCS to provide certification in accordance with consistent standards for all microgeneration technologies. It is designed to evaluate products against robust criteria providing greater protection for consumers.
MCS has six requirements which need to be achieved:
- Power Performance Test
- Safety and Function Evaluation
- Acoustic Performance Test
- Durability Test
- Factory Process Control
- Technical File Audit
The Evance R9000 performed exceptionally at two concurrent test sites in Cornwall and Shetland. This allowed us to rigorously test the turbine and tower in harsh winter conditions, the results were exceptional, with the R9000 well exceeded the requirements for the durability test.
For more information please view the MCS summary report.
As a MCS approved product the R9000 is eligible for the UK Feed-in Tariff (FiT), which rewards end-users for both the generation and export of renewable energy. More information on FiT can be found on our incentives page.
