  • Evance ranked 14th in the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100

Sales up 144 per cent CAGR for UK Designed & Manufactured Small Wind Turbines

Evance Wind Turbines is listed for the first time in the prestigious Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 ranking Britain’s top 100 private technology companies with the fastest-growing sales over the last three years.

Evance, ranked 14thin the UK, had impressive annual sales growth of 144 percent over the period and is the highest placed UK manufacturer listed in the Tech Track 100. The company, who design and manufacture small wind turbines, saw sales grow from £497,500 in 2009 to £7.3m in 2012, and recently signed an export agreement to take its product into Asia - under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer, Kevin Parslow.

“We are absolutely delighted to have achieved Tech Track 100 recognition - being ranked 14thand the highest placed UK manufacturer in our first year is phenomenal,” commented Kevin Parslow. “We believe we are a World Class manufacturer and the ranking is testimony to the outstanding achievement of the Evance team.”

“Unlike large scale wind turbines the R9000 is no bigger than a mature tree and unobtrusive, but makes a significant impact to energy savings,” explains Kevin. “Our customers, who include home owners, farms and schools, usually install one or two small wind turbines - some have replaced oil with wind power. This results in substantially reduced energy bills and some customers have become virtually energy self-efficient,” he added. Evance expects to install its 1,500thturbine next month.
